补充指导(SI)是一种基于研究的学术支持模式,为参加历史上严格课程的学生提供同伴辅助学习课程. 科学探究课程是由同学主导的研讨会,学生有机会讨论课程材料,开发组织工具和学习技巧,为考试做准备. 参与是自愿的,但鼓励所有学生参加科学探究课程. 具有不同学术准备水平的学生参与并受益于科学探究. 该程序于1973年在密苏里大学堪萨斯城分校(UMKC)开发,并在世界各地的数百所学院和大学中使用. SI格言:“告诉我,我就忘了。. Show me and I remember. Involve me and I understand."
